Today Greek public was on strike and demonstrations took place in the center of Athens.
Greeks demonstrated again, against the governmental policy and IMF while many slogans against euro were heard too.
All Greeks want is their future back. Under the current circumstances there is no tomorrow and the feeling of agony is in everyone.
Among the crowd I met Giannis. He sells nuts on the streets and as he told me: "People don't even have money to buy nuts". Giannis is from the North of Greece. He came to Athens 30 years ago to study Political Science. After graduating from the University of Athens he started his own business and until 2009 he's had his own chain of stores with women's clothing. Economic crisis left him broke and during the last three years he's wandering on the streets of Athens selling nuts.
Bread- Education - Liberty
This historic slogan sounded first time back in the 1970s when students rebelled against the dictatorship in Greece.
Today, thousands of young people shouted the same words.
In the beginning of the year the unemployment rate rose to 26,8% and by the end of 2013 will rise to 30%.
