Noam Chomsky talks about the greek economic crisis

The great American thinker Noam Chomsky talked about the economic crisis to the greek magazine "vimagazino". Here are some very interesting things he said:

- Troika's mistakes in Greece were real or predesigned?
The word "mistake" is a funny concept when talking about the Troika. There's a book that has just been released here in the U.S. and is called" Failure by design "(editor's note:" Fail to Plan ")by Josh Bivens. It says that in the last 35 years, the "failure" that hit mainly the middle classes due to design.

- What is happening in Greece, and now in Cyprus can be a strategy that has to do with the energy fields that have been found?
There is no proof only speculation and thoughts about what has happened so far. My impression is that there are "elements" within Germany planning to acquire anything valuable in Greece: islands, tourism, Greek monuments etc.It is difficult to interpret their policy in some other way. And should you say that now they will try to buy anything that is beneficial and profitable for them.
